CodeNext Announcements and Updates

Reunited Again - Welcome Kelly Geraghty!

We are excited to announce that Kelly Geraghty has joined the CodeNext team. It truly is a small world - almost everyone at CodeNext has had the opportunity to work with Kelly in their respective pasts, and are eager to work with her again. On that note, we already know that she will fit right into our tight knit group (Kelly’s already proven she’s game for our family get-togethers and roller coaster field trips).

Kelly joins us with 14 years of professional experience in the fire and life safety industry. She has experience in providing advice and guidance to the design team to ensure compliance with building and fire protection codes, bylaws and standards. Kelly is experienced in developing alternative solutions where the prescriptive guidance is deemed impractical or too restrictive to the design. She applies the principles of fire safety engineering to provide additional flexibility whilst maintaining a safe design. Kelly is strategic in her approach and works with the project design team to develop integrated fire engineered solutions that are manageable when the building is in operation. Kelly has provided fire engineered solutions for a range of projects that include cultural centres, heritage properties, commercial and educational facilities, healthcare and residential projects in Canada and internationally.

With Kelly’s experienced background, she will be able to hit the ground running and assist the team with some of our more complex projects.
