Gerry has 15 years of experience in the Fire Protection industry with broad experience in specialty detection, special hazard systems, sprinkler, fire alarm, and security. He has managed offices, large installation projects, and teams of technical sales associates. Gerry sat on the national board of directors of the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) and was an active member of their education committee. Gerry served as a member-at-large for the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), Southern Ontario Chapter from May 2015 to May 2019.

He excels at managing complex construction projects, preparing detailed estimates of material, labour, and equipment, and ensuring client needs are met from initial bids to final approvals. He also brings specialized technical skills, including using AutoCAD to draft 2D and isometric drawings, and performing design and calculations for specialized fire suppression systems (kitchens, paint booths, server rooms, etc.).
