Today, and every day, we’re proud to celebrate the talented women who shape our industry and drive our work forward. At CodeNext, we’re fortunate to collaborate with incredible professionals who bring technical excellence, leadership, and innovation to everything they do.

Meet the brilliant women behind our work: 

Megan Nicoletti, Partner
Megan specializes in Building Code and Fire Code assessments for architects, engineers, and developers. Her expertise spans fire protection, life safety, and barrier-free design for projects across Canada and internationally. Megan is known for crafting tailored fire engineering solutions that align with clients’ visions while ensuring compliance. She also actively contributes to the development of industry standards through committee work and professional associations.

Melinda Amador, Project Manager
Melinda leads fire protection and life safety consulting efforts, with a strong focus on compliance strategies for hazardous materials. She has advised on facilities in sectors like cannabis, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage, bringing deep insight into risk assessments and Code adherence. Melinda also serves as Chair of NFPA 420 and has held roles in ISO, ULC, and SFPE committees, where she continues to influence national and international standards.

Angela Shillolo, Project Manager
Angela is passionate about life safety training and emergency preparedness. She develops fire safety and emergency response plans, delivers staff training, and evaluates fire drills. With certifications in Business Continuity and Project Management, Angela brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. She also contributes to her community as a volunteer firefighter and through her involvement with Camp Molly.

Kelly Hobb, Project Manager
Kelly’s background blends fire protection consulting with operations and hospitality management. She brings a client-focused approach and a strong understanding of Building and Fire Code applications. Her work includes Plans Examination, Alternative Solutions, and project coordination across sectors like education, healthcare, residential, and commercial.

Ramina Babadi, Project Manager
With a Master of Architecture and a track record in design, construction coordination, and permitting, Ramina bridges creative vision with technical execution. She supports residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments with a focus on code compliance, team collaboration, and efficient project delivery, both locally and internationally.

Rhiannon Todd, Project Engineer
Rhiannon collaborates with design teams to ensure code compliance on a wide range of new builds and renovations. Her strengths lie in Plans Examination, Building Condition Assessments, and the development of Alternative Solutions. Rhiannon has supported complex projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, heritage, and residential sectors throughout Canada.

Bailey Hume, Project Engineer
Bailey brings a background in commissioning and testing within the manufacturing and construction sectors, with a focus on naval applications. Her experience includes working with diverse fire protection and electrical safety systems. Bailey plays a key role in coordinating technical documentation and liaising with clients to ensure successful project execution.

Calista To, Project Administrator
Calista brings expertise in project coordination and gas engineering from her previous work in the utilities sector. She has experience in strategic planning, safety management, and cross-functional project execution. Now part of the CodeNext team, Calista supports fire protection and life safety initiatives with a strong commitment to learning and collaboration.
