CodeNext at Camp Molly

We’re proud to share that our CodeNext women participated in Camp Molly, a four-day immersive firefighting camp designed to inspire and challenge young women.

And when we say immersive, we mean it: we got our hands dirty, suited up, and experienced firsthand what it takes to be a firefighter.

From cutting open a car, forcing entry through doors, dragging fire hoses across the yard, to even rescuing (over and over again!) our faithful training dummy, Gabriel! We truly lived the experience.

For us at CodeNext, this was more than just an adventure. It gave us a real-world appreciation of fire service procedures, knowledge that directly ties back to our work in fire protection, building code, and fire code consulting.

A huge shoutout to the Camp Molly organizers for making this possible, to our amazing women who took on the challenge 💪, and to the rest of the CodeNext crew who kept things running smoothly back at the office while we were out on the fireground.

It was an unforgettable experience, one that reminded us of the strength, grit, and teamwork that drive both firefighting and our everyday work at CodeNext.
