May is Building Safety Month!

It’s been two years since the Ontario government officially declared May as Building Safety Month for the province,  recognizing the critical role of the province’s Building Code and building officials in ensuring public health and safety.

This month serves as an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the work of building officials, who play a pivotal role in safeguarding communities and addressing Ontario’s housing challenges.

At CodeNext Inc., our work is grounded in one core principle: helping ensure that buildings are not only built to Code, but truly safe for the people who use them every day.

Our team works tirelessly to stay on top of the latest industry standards and regulations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

From integrated systems testing to building condition assessments, our team works alongside clients, engineers, and building officials to address life safety challenges at every stage — design, construction, and occupancy.

Whether it’s navigating evolving Code requirements or ensuring systems perform as intended in an emergency, we’re committed to practical, code-based solutions that support safe, efficient spaces.

This Building Safety Month, let's reaffirm our shared commitment to building safety and the well-being of our communities. Together, we can continue to build a safer future for all.
